KING'S ENZO PALACE - BOLOGNA

King Enzo’s Palace – also called Palazzo Nuovo – was originally built in 1224/6 with three arches and brickwork outside main walls, inside wooden floors, outside framing steel and wooden truss roof with iron brackets and rounds of beam.

Great attention has been reserved to the full recovery of original openings, which have kept, notwithstanding restoration, the typical partition of original frames.

All frames have been proposed in two different materials: painted galvanised steel with embossed finish for doors and glazing in the ground floor and in the XIVth century hall, and BronzoFinestra OT/67 copper alloy for the big arched frames of the Podesta hall.

The BronzoFinestra copper alloy synthesizes the value of a noble material like bronze and those of steel technology.

The OT67 alloy (UNI 4894 standards), made up of 67% copper and 33% zinc, guarantees outstanding supporting performance and an exceptional resistance to corrosive agents, and eliminates maintenance.
