Caixanova, one of the major financial institutions in Spain, has recently opened its new branch in Pontevedra in the community of Galicia.

In addition to its financial activities, the institution wanted to give a special contribution to the social and cultural welfare of the city.

The building, in fact, presents several multifunctional spaces: a big auditorium for theatrical and musical representations with more than 800 seats, conference and meeting rooms both for the institution and other users.

The restored side of the building with its typical monumental architecture, is characterised by long, continuous curtain walls with stainless steel external covers and frames.

Stainless steel has also been greatly utilised for the building’s internal and external large windows and doors.
