VILLA EMO - FANZOLO (TV)

This important building by Palladio lies on a large rural estate of Roman origin. Due to this, the area is traced orthogonally, making an ideal background for Palladio’s work on perspective.

The main complex consists of the central villa, of the yard facing it to the south, and of the “Fattoria” placed to the west.

Inside the complex, in the building called “Fattoria” placed to the west of the villa, a major restoration and transformation project has taken place with a brilliant outcome.

The original site was, in fact, turned into the central offices of a major credit institution.

The use of cor-ten material for the frames marries elegance, expense and quality with the architectural function of the external windows.
